Our story
It started at a house near the beach.
Ventura, California - A house full of photographers, artists, and musicians right near the beach is where this story begins. Rich noticed Ashley before he ever met her — her photographs were already getting attention around Brooks Institute, one of the country's most respected photography schools. Admiration turned into something more, and by summer they were inseparable.
Day trips to LA. Hikes through the canyons. Bonfires on the beach. It was a summer to remember and one that changed everything for two young photographers.
Life moves fast and a lot has happened since then — a business, a family, a life built together in Lowell, MA. But the thing that has never changed is this: when they pick up a camera together, something clicks. Over 400 weddings later, they're still creating images and telling love stories.
How We Work
Candid First. Then Everything Else.
We are documentary wedding photographers first. Every wedding is its own love story and our job is to capture it honestly — the tears, the chaos, the laughter, the quiet moments nobody else notices. Yes, we photograph details and portraits, but only the ones YOU WANT.
We show up, we blend in, and we get to work. Over 400 weddings has taught us that the best photographs happen when you forget we're there. Your wedding is yours. Your photographs should look like it.
Our skills are not only with the camera. Our experience allows us to collaborate with you to help make sure that photography never becomes a burden on your wedding day. And, it's not out of the question for us to help with boutonnieres (Rich), or even pinning a dress (Ashley).

The Planner
Ashley thrives on the details — the ones everyone else misses. A go-with-the-flow personality who somehow also has everything planned before you even thought to ask. When she puts the camera down she's crafting, baking, sewing, or being held hostage by a cat in her lap.
Rich
The Comedian
Rich is the reason nobody feels awkward in front of the camera. Laid back, quietly hilarious, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a good time. Off the clock you'll find him deep into a book he's already read three times, at they gym, or working on his fly casting.
Our Dream
An Rv at the edge of the world.
The dream is simple — photograph people, tell stories, and eventually road trip across America hitting every National Park along the way. We are working on it.
