Omni Parker Hotel Wedding

This quintessential Boston wedding starts and ends with the famous Omni Parker House hotel. Known for its history (some haunted) as well as the creation of the Boston Cream Pie, the Parker House hotel combines old-world Boston and modern luxury. This hotel boasts that it is the longest running hotel in America, which is an incredible achievement. You’ll know it tho, as soon as you walk into this establishment it’s like walking into a different era.

The bride prepared for the wedding in the Parker suite, which was ample room for the entire bridal party. Bridesmaids and parents were all quite comfortable, and cozy. One of our favorite images from this part of the day is mom helping the bride with her shoes. On the mezzanine level, groom and groomsmen finished up their prep in the Dickens room. A bit of

OLD CITY HALL and PUBLIC GARDENS

One of the great features of the Parker House hotel is location and proximity to so many photo opportunities around Boston. The couple chose to have their first look and to start their portrait session across the street from the hotel at the Old City Hall courtyard. Now turned into a restaurant, it’s still a tourist attraction and has a beautiful door way that is irresistible for a photographer. From there, we gathered the wedding party and walked to the Boston Public Gardens for portraits. Boston is a walkable city, so an Omni Parker Hotel wedding has tons of opportunities.

After a short walk back to the Parker House, the wedding party prepared for the wedding ceremony in the famous Press Room. Noted in history as the spot where John F. Kennedy announced his candidacy for Congress. A gorgeous room styled with ornate wood work and elegant chandeliers, the Press Room is a perfect place for a wedding ceremony.  Furthermore, the rooftop ballroom on the 15th floor is an incredible spot for a reception. There’s even access to an outdoor walkway where we can create beautiful portraits with the city of Boston as backdrop. The Parker House hotel really allows you to enjoy so much of the city on your wedding day.
