MV Island Weddings Magazine – Winter | Spring 2015
There is a theme to our published work from 2014… Martha’s Vineyard! We love that island and can not wait to be back there in 2015 for the handful of island weddings we’ve got on the books already. And we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we had three different shoots make it into two different print magazines.
The first was a small image in Well Wed on their feature on the Beach Plum Inn. The Beach Plum Inn is one of our favorite spots up island. It’s an incredible location with so many unique opportunities for great wedding photos. You can imagine our excitement when the Well Wed team emailed us about our photo.
The very next week we got a call from Martha’s Vineyard Magazine regarding photos that we shot with Kristen Gosselin of KG Events and Design. Last Summer we hooked up with KG Events for an epic day of styled shoots! We had a sunrise on the beach theme with a gorgeous tablescape in Oak Bluffs and a sunset shoot at Captain Flanders House in Menemsha. Kristen and her team crushed it! No wonder Island Weddings wanted to run photos from the Oak Bluffs shoot.
So as we are getting excited over getting a feature for this styled shoot, we sent the editor a real wedding for consideration. They loved it and ran a full feature on Matt and Sheila’s Beach Plum Wedding. Ashley and I were high-fiving for about three straight days. What a great week for our photography!
