Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding | Charles and Susanna

Boston, MA – Ashley and I recently had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Charles and Susanna at the Boston Harbor Hotel. You many remember Charles and Susanna from their Engagement Session this past Fall. This event was elegant, charming and had the feeling of a very small intimate wedding. The bride and groom are so open to our style of photography and even braved a portrait session outside in mid 30 degree weather, now that is dedication!

To personalize their wedding day, Charles and Susanna chose to hold their traditional tea ceremony at the beginning of their reception. This was incredibly fun to witness and the beauty of the tradition was exciting to photograph. In the past, we’ve experienced Asian tea ceremonies before the ceremony, so this was a nice customization that allowed all the guests to experience it as well. The bride and groom really did a great job of making their wedding their own, and the staff of the Boston Harbor Hotel, did a fantastic job of allowing them the opportunity to do so.
