Emily and Karlek planned a beautiful wedding at Royal Sonesta Cambridge.
Ashley and I didn’t get a chance to meet Emily and Karlek until their wedding day. Sometimes work, life and geography get in the way. Luckily we’ve known her family for a while and have photographed a couple of her cousins’ wedding in the past. It’s pretty great to open a hotel door and know half the room already!
This wedding took us from Cambridge to Boston, back to Cambridge. The getting ready and reception were at the Royal Sonesta and the ceremony took place at the Our Lady of Good Voyage parish in the seaport. A beautiful, brand new church, perfect for this wedding. After a lovely ceremony, we got to explore the harbor area behind the courthouse overlooking the city, as well Christopher Columbus Park and the Charles Gate boat house. It’s hard to think of an easier time making portraits on a wedding day.
The reception was an all-out party, as we expected with this family. Love the energy on the dance floor! The Wilson Steven’s band, Signature, was electric from start to finish. For proof of awesomeness, please check out these photos below:
